K Prouty has spent his life in pursuit of art, a mission to create truly original work, future classics. A quite creative genius, K Prouty has climbed to the top of the music mountain while somehow maintaining anonymity. For years his various projects would chart in the top tens of music sites, play huge shows and festivals, be the sound of a fashion brand, create soundtracks for film, featured on radio and podcasts and play with international stars!
Building upon the revelation was started as a refresh after relocating to Michigan. The focus of this project was to truly create heavy music from a composer's standpoint, even though his main instrument is guitar, the whole arrangement needed to be equally as important, not just backing to shred over.
Since relocating his music has been featured on radio in Detroit, Monroe, Flint, Grand Rapids, Tennessee, Italy, UK, Canada and Brazil.
Played shows at Mulligans Grand Rapids MI, Turnstiles Grand Rapids MI, The Ruin Fort Wayne IN, The Avenue Owasso MI, Sonicollision Festival Auburn IN.
